Gallery Walk in Pioneer Square

My friends Paula and Midge opened up their art studio for first Thursday last night. There were a lot of art enthusiasts out and about on the chilly night.

I brought my jewelry and since I forgot to bring a mirror, I modeled some of my designs. We had fun asking people to name one of Paula's sculptures. One of my favorites was "my mother in laws Thanksgiving dinner".

Washed Ashore a resounding success

The Washed Ashore Display is being taken down from Edie's Shoes, but the installation was a resounding success. It was first installed in the West Seattle store for their August art walk. A collection of jewelry and shadow boxes were created, reminicent of objects washed ashore from a shipwreck long ago. Keys, lockets, watches and old 1920 postcards from Spain were used.
The display was shown in the Capital hill store until now.
